Terms and Conditions
1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking a holiday directly with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Nature of Activity and Risk
Horse riding is an inherently high-risk activity. You participate entirely at your own risk. We strongly advise that you wear a protective hard hat at all times while riding or when near horses.
You acknowledge that riding may take place in remote areas where terrain can be challenging and access to safety services and infrastructure may be limited. By booking this trek, you confirm that you understand and accept these risks.
While riding or in the vicinity of horses, you must comply with the instructions of your guide at all times. We reserve the right to require you to dismount or to refuse your participation if, in our opinion, your ability, behaviour, or health may endanger the safety or welfare of any person or the horses. In such cases, no refund will normally be given for any unused portion of the trip.
We shall not be liable for any injury, death, loss, or damage sustained by you except where such liability cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
3. Rider Requirements
Failure to disclose relevant medical conditions or limitations may result in refusal to participate without refund, and we shall not be liable for any consequences arising from such non-disclosure.
4. Itinerary Changes
5. Booking, Cancellation and Refund Policy
5.1 Booking and Deposit
Your reservation is confirmed upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit of £300 per person. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 35 days before the start date.
5.2 Cancellation by You
You may cancel your booking at any time before the trek. The following cancellation charges will apply:
These charges reflect committed costs, preparation work, and the reduced likelihood of re-selling places at short notice.
5.3 No-Show and Early Departure
Failure to attend, late arrival, or voluntary withdrawal after the trip has started will result in 100% of the total price being retained.
5.4 Modifications
Requests to change dates or participant details are not guaranteed and depend on availability and operational feasibility. Where changes cannot be accommodated, your booking will be treated as a cancellation under this policy.
5.5 Cancellation by Us
We reserve the right to cancel a trip where necessary due to operational reasons or safety concerns.
In the event that we cancel a trip:
Where cancellation is due to Force Majeure, clause 5.7 will apply.
5.6 Weather and Outdoor Conditions
Trips operate in natural environments. Weather conditions alone do not entitle you to cancel without charge unless we determine that conditions make the activity unsafe.
5.7 Force Majeure
If events beyond our reasonable control affect the trip, we may, at our discretion, modify, postpone, or cancel it. This includes any circumstance making the trip unsafe, impracticable, or commercially unviable. Where this occurs:
6. Insurance Requirements
It is a condition of booking that you obtain suitable travel insurance covering medical expenses, injury, death, personal liability, cancellation, curtailment, baggage, and personal effects for the full duration of the trip.
You are responsible for ensuring that your policy does not exclude cover for the activities included in your holiday.
We reserve the right to refuse your participation if you do not hold adequate insurance, and no refund will normally be given in such circumstances. We shall not be liable for any costs, losses, or damages arising from inadequate insurance cover.
7. Third-Party Services
We are not responsible for any goods or services provided by third-party suppliers.
8. Travel Documentation
You are responsible for complying with all applicable Spanish immigration requirements. Your passport and any required visas must be valid for the duration of the trip.
9. Data Protection
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Spanish courts.
