Join us for the horsetrek of your life through the breathtaking landscapes of the celebrated Parque Nacional de los Picos de Europa in the north of Spain in mid September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to ride for 5 days through some of the most dramatic scenery in Europe. Towering limestone mountains, dramatic gorges and dense deciduous forests sit barely 25kms inland from the Atlantic coast, resulting in a rich diversity of flowers, native wildlife and geological formations. The air is pure and fresh and the views astonishing.
The itinerary
Your holiday starts as soon as you land in Asturias. From here on in you won’t have to make any decisions. Just enjoy riding on a fabulous horse through utterly wondrous scenery, for 5 to 6 hours a day.
Food and Accommodation
Apart from the first and last nights we will be staying in high mountain villages in clean and comfortable lodging. Food is a particularly important part of the culture up here, and you will not go hungry. The accommodation has been specifically chosen as much for its kitchen as its comfort and you can expect some really delicious regional dishes. Please give us plenty of warning if you have specific food requirements.
The Team
We will be riding in a small group with a maximum of 8 of us in total, including 2 from Adventures on Horseback.
Price and Travel Information
The price for the holiday is £1,950 per person. This is based on two people sharing a double room with private bathroom. A small supplement may be charged for single occupancy of a room.
